Midsummer Eve for two....

June 18th - National Wildflower day 2006

Yet another viola....
What`s more natural than to post another photo of one of our beautiful wildflowers on the Wildflower day. I read on a website that one of the first sundays in June the botanical organisations in Norway,Sweden,Denmark,and also in Finland,Iceland and Greenland celebrate the Wildflower day. They want to stimulate the interest for wildflowers in peoples own environment.

There`s a lot of wildflowers blooming at the moment. I picked a beautiful bouquet the other day...In Norway we call these flowers "Night and day".I guess is beacause of its colours.From bright blue to white.....I like these dreamy-like photos.

It`s the time of year......

.....when insects are pretty busy.This is one of last years tries to get a good photo of a insect. It`s not easy I can tell you. I have been admiring other insect-photographers work,some of them are quite fantastic. I`ll just have to keep trying ;-}

The Orchid in my window post captured in the bright evening light.A beautiful flower! I am so happy that spring(and almost summer) is here,and brings us these long bright evenings. It`s now 9.45 p.m(Correct me if I am wrong,I am not quite sure of a.m and p.m.....),and it is still sunny outside.

For me spring is colors,feelings and the smell of flowers and trees in blossom......
